Simon Myers has been producing films, promoting artists, producing and directing shows and concerts for the last 15 years.
Simon was director’s assistant on the 2006 motion picture Irresistible (starring Sam Neil, Susan Sarandon and Emily Blunt) and with producer Fukimo Homma coproduced the 2007 feature film Academy for release in Japan.
His credits as a Producer include short films like Solvent, End Of Town and The Tank (starring Chris Haywood and Linda Cropper) that have been screened in festivals in New York, London, Berlin, Melbourne, Sydney, Wyoming and Palm Springs.
One of the films, End Of Town, was nominated in the 2006 L’Oreal Paris AFI Awards and went on to win the Emerging Australian Filmmaker Award at the 2006 Melbourne International Film Festival.

Since 2009 as a Producer and Director, Simon Myers has had a string of theatre successes; The Man in Black: The Johnny Cash Story starring Tex Perkins which won a Helpmann Award in 2010 (Best Australian Contemporary Concert), EVA – Tales From the Life of Eva Cassidy, starred Clare Bowditch, The John Denver Story, starring Rick Price, 2011 original production of Doris Day – So Much More Than The Girl Next Door, starring Melinda Schneider, Barassi The Stage Show, Godspell at The Arts Centre Melbourne and Sydney Opera House, At Last – The Etta James Story starring Vika Bull and The South African production of Let’s Get It On – The Life and Music of Marvin Gaye in The Joburg Theatre Johannesburg. 

In 2016 Simon produced and directed Tapestry – The Songs of Carole King starring Debra Byrne and Vika Bull, which toured across Australia for 2 years. 

In 2017 Simon took on management of the MEMO Music Hall in St. Kilda. MEMO has presented some of Australia’s greatest artists including Paul Kelly, Dan Sultan, Kate Ceberano, Vanessa Amorosi, Jon Stevens and many more.
